About us

David and Lyn Knight founded the company in early 2006 with the sole aim to make sofas and chairs to a quality and standard with a service to match and not just to a price point. The staff are all time served and trained to the highest standard in Long Eaton. In September2006 Greensmith Upholstery was purchased and it's range now forms part of our collection.

All the materials used are to the same high specification

The Frames
We start with the very best base using renewable solid beech from Eastern Europe with joints glued, screwed and dowelled, including castor blocks and the leading edges have been chamfered clean.

The springs
All seat springs are coil with a mesh top, many are double sprung using a horizontal and vertical spring system. (Duflex)

The Cushions
A variety of different cushion interiors are used as standard: fibre, fibre/feather or down/feather are available as an optional extra.

The Fabrics

Our fabrics are sourced from around the world and have to conform to current legislation. These are then hand cut and pattern matched through and through, we are happy to use client’s own fabrics. We can also work in leather.

Finally one upholsterer individually makes each item of furniture for you to ensure our highest standards are maintained,
